![]() Other than that they have a great selection of vehicles one of which being an extremely low mileage 2016 Ram that I was prepared to drive home tonight had I not been asked to leave by Mr. So I left-I'll say that people were polite accept for the one manager who didn't appreciate me asking for my keys back. Davilla didn't appreciate my candor nor concerns because he promptly asked me to leave. Davilla again reiterated my car wasn't worth that much, so now I'm totally not buying a thing this guy is trying to pitch to me and I asked him a follow up question which was simply if my car isn't worth this much, than where are you getting this money from? I guess Mr. ![]() So I asked him you keep telling me my car isn't worth any money but now you have a number closer to what I wanted to begin with, so why didn't we start with that offer? Mr. He came in and played with the numbers trying to convince me that my car-that he kept telling me wasn't worth more than $8,000.he all of a sudden had $11,000 to give me for it.and oh by the way the price of the truck was conveniently much more than advertised. This person I guess what the sales manager or something, last name was Davilla didn't catch the first name. So one guy tagged out and another guy tagged in. One of the managers in an attempt to be coy and implying that I was bluffing kept asking if Gunn offered you what you are asking for why didn't you buy from Gunn? My response of course was simple-They didn't have what I wanted. Everything went sideways when they offered me a much lower appraisal then other dealerships had offered me in the area. Eventually I decided and we began the arduous process of trade appraisal and financing. The salesperson was nice enough he was patient as I spent more time that I probably needed deciding which Ram truck to buy. I'll say upfront I walked in there ready to buy today. I left this dealership about two hours ago after spending four hours there deciding between two trucks I have been checking out online. I am pretty sure that this post will be followed up by the dealership stating that "they cannot find any record of my visit". So, I will make it a point to spread the word. Considering this experience, I am sure this email will fall on deaf ears or I will receive another email stating some empty, politically correct, apology. This experience was not pleasurable at all. I was the one making the effort on researching prices and sending you pictures of what my vehicle is worth. So what help did you provide me? What next vehicle? My lingering question is why could we not make a deal? The dealership was not willing to come off the price or give me any more for my trade. I was wiling to cut a check as I still have it in my bag, but there was no counter offer, there was no ?dealing? going on.Įither way how would you know happened because you were not there? You heard this information second hand from Jin. I also showed you on the site that YOU use, that the dealership was not offering me the ?full amount" of a clean trade in. I then countered that number as I know that my vehicle is worth more that what they offered. When the initial appraisal for my vehicle came out, I knew that the dealership would give me some low number. Whether that was you intention or not it still looked bad on your end. It seemed like you did not want to deal with me and passed me off to someone else. I am sure eventually I was going to meet him due to him being your manager. Seemed like a nice guy but again I was led to believe you were going to be the one that I was dealing with. I was expecting to see you and work with you as that was what you led me to believe. If you tell someone to be in a location at a certain time you make it a point to be there to meet them at the time and location that you disclosed. I was there at the appointed time and place. The first day was fine, I did have some tasks to accomplish that came up and had to leave but that happens from time to time.Īccording to our conversation via text you told me to be at the dealership at 1130 Thursday. Our initial meeting was cordial and you were able to show me the vehicle that I wanted in a timely manner. The reason I went to your dealership was because you had the Land Cruiser I was interested in and your dealership was recommended by another firefighter that I work with stating that he recently bought a new truck from Cavender Toyota. The email sent to me was that they were happy to help me with the purchase of my next vehicle and if I have any lingering questions. According to him, he was with another customer the entire time looking at the same vehicle that I was there to purchase. This was in response to a follow up email received from the salesman that did not show up when he told me to be at Cavender at a certain time and date.
